Community Watch

The Deepings Business Club are currently working with the Deepings Management Partnership and Lincolnshire Police to implement a Community Watch Scheme in the Deepings.

Shops, public houses and community buildings that join the scheme will use digital radio technology to keep in touch with each other and the local Police Community Support Team.

Shoplifting alone costs retailers in the region of £3 billion each year. The presence of a scheme like this seeks to actively deter theft and fraud and discourage anti-social behaviour.

The Deepings Business Club are heavily represented on the DMP committee which works to improve the quality, viability, vitality and sense of place of the Deepings, focussing on the Town Centre.

Make Deeping Green

The Deepings Business Club are main sponsors of the Make Deeping Green campaign which aims to make the Deepings a plastic bag free area by asking all retailers within the community to stop giving out free plastic bags to their customers.
